Exclusive | This BookTok creator loves these must-read authors to add to your list
When it comes to reading, we do a lot of it. From reviewing the best books each month to rounding up the best mysteries and romantasy reads, the Post Wanted team is committed to helping you find the best, most out-of-the-box titles to complete your reading list.
So, when we interviewed LarryReads (also known as Larissa Cambusano), a passionate #BookTok content creator, with a keen eye for must-read authors, we knew we’d have the crème de la crème of books to recommend. And, they’re all right here.
“It means the world to me to be a part of the #BookTok community,” Cambusano exclusively told the New York Post. “I truly have no words for how much it’s changed my life. Getting to recommend my favorite books to so many people, and being able to communicate with other readers is so special. It’s also so much fun to make friends with people across the world that you would’ve never met if it wasn’t for this cute silly little niche.”

Uniquely, Cambusano doesn’t believe that any #BookTok books are “overrated,” even though there are plenty of repeat titles from authors like Colleen Hoover and Taylor Jenkins Reid. “‘Overrated,’ to me, just means the book is really popular and a lot of people love it,” Cambusano said. “If I didn’t personally love it, that’s just because my opinion differed [from] others and that’s okay. But the word ‘overrated’ makes it sound like the book isn’t deserving of its popularity and I just don’t agree with that at all.”
Below, find the top titles Cambusano recommends that stand out among the litter on #BookTok. You won’t be disappointed, and you’ll surely add a bunch of these to your TBR (that’s short for “to-be read”).
Better yet, you can listen to most of these titles on Audible. If you love listening while on your weekend power walk or on your work commute, sign up to use the platform for only $0.99 cents each month for your first three months.
