Fallout 4 has received a next-gen update that added new quests and graphical improvements. This comes right on the heels of the critically acclaimed Fallout TV show. Fans of the series have caught uranium fever once again and are headed back to the wasteland to enjoy this update.
Fallout 4 changed the way power armor works. These hulking suits of armor act as a powerful defense against the horrors of the post-apocalypse. The game also added customization if you want to make your set of armor unique. This includes paint jobs that can be found throughout the Commonwealth. Here is where you can find the Hot Rodder magazines that allow you to make your power armor look like vintage hot rods.

Where to Find the Harbormaster Hotel in Fallout 4
The Harbormaster Hotel in FO4 is the location of the Mysterious Signal in “All Hallow’s Eve;” here’s how to find it.
#1 Flame Job
The Flame Job Hot Rodder magazine can be found at the Robotics Disposal Ground. This location is to the northeast of the starting town of Sanctuary and Vault 111. There is not much in the area save for some junk and a sentry bot that can be activated. You can visit this location early on without worrying about any danger.
Enter the small building on the site to find the magazine. It’s on the left side of the terminal sitting on the shelf. The Flame Job paint scheme is red with black flames.
#2 Shark Paint Schemes
The second Hot Rodder magazine can be found at the Atom Cats Garage. This garage is found to the southeast of Diamond City on a small peninsula. The Atom Cats are a friendly group of power armor enthusiasts who are also a throwback to retro American car culture.
Walk to the back of the area to the left of their garage to find Zeke’s trailer. The Shark Paint Schemes magazine is on the wooden nightstand beside the bed. There is a holotape right in front of it. The Shark Paint scheme is olive-colored with a shark mouth similar to old bombers and hot rods.
#3 Hot Pink
The Hot Pink magazine is located in the Milton Parking Garage. This is an unmarked area across from the Milton General Hospital south of Diamond City.
The parking garage is a maze of ghouls and puzzles. The final Hot Rodder magazine is in a small bedroom with a weapons workbench on the fourth floor. The Hot Pink paint job is bright pink with white stripes.
How to Apply Hot Rod Paint Jobs
You need to bring your power armor to any power armor rack to customize it. Get out of your armor near the rack then press craft on it.
Click through to the material mods menu. Select the paint job of your choice. Paint all pieces of the armor to receive an agility bonus while wearing it.
