Fallout 4 players stunned by hidden loot room most of us missed

Dive into the Deathclaw hole for loot!

With a game as huge as Fallout 4, it’s no surprise that players are still discovering new secrets to this very day.

Fallout 4 was released in 2016 but despite this, Bethesda’s post-apocalyptic RPG is now more popular than it arguably ever was thanks to the critically acclaimed live-action series from Amazon. The popularity of the Amazon series has welcomed a new legion of fans not only enjoying the likes of Fallout 4 but also Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas and even Fallout 76.

Check out the Fallout 4 trailer below!

“As the sole survivor of Vault 111, you enter a world destroyed by nuclear war. Every second is a fight for survival, and every choice is yours. Only you can rebuild and determine the fate of the Wasteland. Welcome home,” reads the description of Fallout 4.

So what secrets are waiting to be discovered in Fallout 4’s wasteland, I hear you ask? Well, to be fair, the game is huge, so there are simply too many to mention but one player in particular has discovered a Deathclaw hole rammed with goodies.

“Doesn’t matter what. Hidden stashes, hidden weapons, unmarked locations, and secret choices in quests. Whatever it is, if you know of stuff like that, please do share,” asked Redditor _kris2002_.

To which OhadiNacnud, replied: “My last playthrough, I found a small zone in the hole where the first Deathclaw comes out of. Never thought to look before, but there it is.”

“I was very surprised when I found that there’s a collectable magazine down there. I think when I did my first playthrough I was so traumatised by the Deathclaw, I avoided the sewer for ages afterwards,” said DrSpocksFartAccident.

To be fair, like many, I have encountered this particular Deahclaw very early on in Fallout 4 but I never once thought about checking its hole for loot. I would assume this is the encounter where you first meet Preston of the Minutemen at the Museum of Freedom.

So the next time I fire Fallout 4 up, I’m going to have a good vigorous rummage in that Deathclaw hole to claim all the glorious loot.

Fallout 4 is out now on PC, PlayStation and Xbox. It’s also available at no extra cost for those who subscribe to Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Plus Extra/Premium.
