Family entertainment at the heart of Saturday’s Hispanic Heritage Fiesta

Looking for a fun family event?

Four County Community Foundation (4CCF) will present its 2nd annual Hispanic Heritage Fiesta from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at the Eastern Michigan State Fairgrounds in Imlay City.

“We look forward to once again celebrating and recognizing the history, culture, and economic contributions that Hispanics have made in the Four County Community Foundation’s service area,” said Kathy Dickens, executive director for 4CCF.

It’s not only free but will include entertainment.

Throughout the day guests will have an opportunity to enjoy a variety of activities including pinatas and inflatables for the kids, a vendor show for adults and food trucks. The fiesta’s entertainment for the day also includes singers and dance groups.

“Grupo Sin Fronteras”, an Imlay City-based Mexican youth dance club will be among the stars.

Kids attending the event will also have an opportunity to attend a free kids soccer clinic hosted by members of the Imlay City Football Club, a new minor league team in the region that has generated a newfound interest in the sport.

Some great prizes, including $50 gift cards, can be won in an hourly drawing.

FCCF is a nonprofit based in Romeo that works to bring organizations in Macomb, Oakland, Lapeer and St. Clair counties together in order to address local issues and opportunities.
