Last month, the Family Travel Association (FTA) held its first annual Travel Advisor Retreat at Beaches Turks and Caicos. The event brought together nearly 60 travel advisors, suppliers and media representatives for three days of education, networking, site visits and destination immersion. The retreat was capped off by a final reception that was attended by Josephine Connolly, minister of tourism for Turks and Caicos.

“We are so pleased that we could offer this retreat to our travel advisor members,” said Kasie Smith, executive director of the FTA. “We felt it was so important to bring together our partners to discuss the current state — and future of — family travel. We received nothing but positive feedback on the event. It was also a great destination, and Beaches was the perfect host.”
