FAMU Sports Hall of Famer Darryl Drew’s funeral service is set for Saturday, September 21, at 11 a.m. – Florida A&M

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. –– Florida A&M Sports Hall of Famer Darryl Drew’s funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, September 21, at 11 a.m. Eastern. 

Drew played football for the Rattlers from 1981-1984 for the legendary Rudy Hubbard and was teammates with the Rattlers’ current acting athletics director, Michael Smith. Drew led the Rattlers with 131 total tackles and five sacks in his senior season. Drew was inducted into the FAMU Sports Hall of Fame in 1998.

The service will take place at the St. Mark Primitive Baptist Church.
