Fashion Week Street Style: Denim Edition

In London, Milan and Paris, fashion week attendees combined new, designer denim with thrifted and vintage finds and unique customized pieces, resulting in an eclectic array of indigo looks.

Prints—from logo designs to florals—decorated denim skirts, shorts and jeans. Some prints were achieved through laser printing, other motifs were embroidered and patchworked.

Tassels, charms and stacked wallet chains also added personal touches to jeans. The baubles spanned pearls to crystals, mimicking the bag charm trend spurred on by Jane Birkin’s accessorized Hermes bag going viral.  

Raw denim jeans were prominent, worn cuffed and creased and oversized and baggy. Some opted for classic silhouettes like Trucker jacket sand straight-fit jeans, allowing the fabric’s color and grain to shine. Others used the stiff fabric to create sculptural jackets.

Vintage ’80s washes with a gritty vibe and clear blue ’70s washes stood out in a sea of vintage 501-inspired washes. Center seams—a trend seen on the Spring/Summer 2025 runway—accentuated the shape of skinny jeans, nodding to the early aughts millennial style.
