Fashionista’s July Shopping List: 37 Items Our Editors Love
The fashion crowd was definitely not on vacation this July: Marc Jacobs unveiled a dreamy Fall 2024 collection, celebrities put on their best prep looks at Wimbledon and Daisy Edgar-Jones’s “Twisters” press tour ‘fits blew us away (everyone say “Thank you, Dani Michelle.”) Over here at team Fashionista, we spent the past month upgrading our warm-weather wardrobes while seeking out the AC.
Summer getaways were top of mind, with jet-setting luggage, travel-friendly totes and poolside attire popping up in our carts. Our closets took on the heat in style with lightweight knit maxis, tablecloth-patterned matching sets, breezy floral wrap dresses and embroidered bralettes. As for our must-have finishing touches, we leaned into gold accent pieces (see: a glittering cannabis charm) as well as beach-ready sandals and Mary Jane flats. See (and shop!) all of our favorite July finds, below.

Dagne Dover Seattle Larger Carry-On Luggage in Ash, $625, available here: “Dagne Dover already makes my favorite toiletry organizer and weekend bag, so when I learned the brand was launching luggage, it immediately had my attention. I’m telling myself it’ll magically turn me into a brilliant, minimalist packer for my next trip.” —Stephanie Saltzman, Beauty Director
Flattered Camila Leather Black, $225, available here: “I have been on my ballerina game lately, but have found myself missing just a slight lift in my walk. Isabel Marant Wedge Espadrilles, $650 $325, available here: “Despite being halfway through summer, I’ve had not a single pair of sandals in my closet — until now. These espadrilles go with pretty much everything (an easy job, since I rather exclusively wear all black) and are shockingly comfy for a raffia wedge heel. But, let’s be honest: Even if they were painful with every step, it’s a sacrifice worth giving for Isabel Marant.” —Janelle Sessoms, Staff Writer
Hutch Cezza Dress, $350, available here: “With flutter-y sleeves and cascading ruffles, this lilac-colored wrap dress is the ultimate sartorial manifestation of a garden party. Left on Friday Pool Days Top, $95, available here and Hi Tide Bottom, $95, available here: “One of Left on Friday’s calling cards is that it designs its swimwear with physical activity in mind — whether you’re a surfer, swimmer or professional lounger. Its propriety fabric is compressive and smoothing, but doesn’t feel like it. It’s also quick-drying and snag-resistant. The brand’s separates come in a wide range of colors, which you can mix and match. (I went for the monochromatic look.)” —Ana
Amelie Teje Kittie Maxi Dress in Ivory, $192, available here: “Drop-waist silhouettes have been flooding my summer Pinterest board, and this strapless dress from Amelie Teje could fit right in with the rest of my pins. Victoria’s Secret Body by Victoria Invisible Lift Full-Coverage Minimizer Bra, $55, available here: “For as long as I can remember, I’ve been chasing a bra that genuinely helps to create a facade of lesser volume. To achieve my desired outcome, I’d go as far as to layer two bras at times. When someone told me this Body by Victoria style claimed a 20% size decrease, I knew I had to try it. Long story short, I’ve hardly worn a different bra since then. The top helps to flatten me out without looking pancake-y or wider by pushing my volume to the sides — the most common issue I’ve run into with minimizing bras.” —Brooke
