Federal disaster relief still available for businesses impacted by April 2 storms
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Congressman Morgan McGarvey was in Louisville Tuesday making sure small business owners know about the help available after a round of severe storms back in April.
Five confirmed tornadoes hit the Louisville Metro area on April 2. McGarvey says federal disaster assistance is still available for businesses that were impacted.
Small businesses can apply for disaster loans from the Small Business Administration.
”The Small Business Administration, they have grants, they have access to capital programs, they’ve got a lot of services they can offer for businesses who’ve been negatively impacted by these natural disasters,” McGarvey said.
Homeowners can also apply for federal disaster assistance.
