Festival International starts this Wednesday. See who’s playing and where.
Festival International de Louisiane brings an abundance of diverse sounds to Downtown Lafayette every year. Get ready to plan your unique festival experience starting this Wednesday with the 2024 lineup schedule.
The festival will run from April 24-28, and according to executive director Scott Feehan, attendees can expect to find plenty of Latin flair among the bands traveling to Lafayette from all over the world.
“We’re looking forward to celebrating our Latin heritage and culture for the 38th Festival International,” said Feehan.
This year’s visual artist is Lafayette native Dusty Reed. The “Cajun Picasso” created the official pin and poster to represent the spirit of Festival.
Attendees can buy official 2024 merch at locations across Festival, alongside unique art, craft and food offerings that highlight the businesses of the region.
Festival International, which started in 1987, is held annually the last weekend of April. The iconic downtown festival draws about 300,000 to 400,000 people and has an estimated economic impact of $49 million per year.
