Fiat Designed this 2025 Fiat 500e to be the Ultimate Fashion Accessory
Fiat has changed its marketing to follow a trend popular in the fashion industry. You’ll notice that many retailers like Nordstrom and Target do specialized “drops” where they create a limited number of items to make them highly collectible. Fiat’s latest “drop” may be its most collectible, yet! The 2025 Fiat 500e Giorgio Armani Collector’s Edition, carries the fine lines and chic fashion that the iconic Italian designer was known for.
“The Fiat 500e Giorgio Armani Collector’s Edition represents the finest expression of Italian design, bringing together two legendary icons in the Fiat Cinquecento and Giorgio Armani,” said Aamir Ahmed, head of FIAT brand North America. “Featuring Armani’s unparalleled design influence, including two bespoke color combinations and high-end touches befitting an Armani fashion collection, not to mention the artistry instilled by the FIAT Centro Stile design team, the 500e Giorgio Armani Collector’s Edition epitomizes the exceptionality of Italian design and craftsmanship.”
The collector’s edition has its own commercial called “Ovation,” where they suggest to the driver, “Don’t drive it, wear it”.
What Makes the Giorgio Armani Edition Different
The 2025 Fiat 500e Giorgio Armani edition is only available in two exclusive colors – green and Greige. It has matching tone-on-tone eco-leather seats. The Fiat 500e Giorgio Armani Collector’s Edition even has unique 17-inch wheels with the Giorgio Armani logo.
The interior, inspired by Armani/Casa and the fashion collection, exemplifies craftsmanship and Armani’s sleek style. Interior finishes blend cutting-edge touches like a laser-cut dashboard insert with a woodgrain appearance. Intricate embroidery showcases Armani’s dedication to details. The vehicle also features the Giorgio Armani logo on the front-seat headrests, with the designer’s signature displayed on the dashboard, interior door panels and rear window.
Additionally, the 500e Giorgio Armani Collector’s Edition is packed with the latest safety equipment, including ADAS and Level 2 assisted driving technology. The Fiat 500e is the first all-electric car in its segment to offer Level 2, hands-on driver-assist technology.
Safety features include:
- Seven air bags
- Active Lane Management System
- Blind-spot Monitoring
- Rear Cross Path detection
- Drowsy Driver Detection
- Full-speed Forward Collision Warning-Plus
- Intelligent Speed Assist
Fiat 500e BEV Experience
The lightest passenger BEV on the market, the 500e Giorgio Armani Collector’s Edition features a 42-kWh battery with a Level 2 (11 kW) charge time of 4.5 hours. The 500e Giorgio Armani Collector’s Edition is driven by an electric motor with an output of 117 horsepower and 162 lb.-ft. of torque. It will do 0-30 mph in under three seconds and has a range of up to 149 miles.
Other Fiat 500e Special Editions
I have written previously about other Fiat 500e special editions. The first collaboration was the 2024 Fiat 500e RED Edition that was produced with the Global RED Charity. There is also a 2024 Fiat 500e edition that was promoted by Jennifer Lopez.
It is unclear how well Fiat’s new marketing initiative is working. Today, it was revealed that the Mirafiori plant in Turin, Italy, is suspending production of the Fiat 500e for the entire month of December. The stoppage is from December 2, 2024, until January 5, 2025. The shutdown is blamed on the soft EV demand in Europe, which makes up 97 percent of the market for the 500e.
When the 2025 Fiat 500e Giorgio Armani Edition Will be Available
The 2025 Fiat 500e Giorgio Armani Collector’s Edition will be in dealerships in the first quarter of 2025. Pricing will be announced closer to launch.
