Fiery north London derby half equals Premier League record 🛁

Even though little is separating Tottenham and Arsenal at the break of Sunday’s north London derby, it’s certainly been eventful.

Both teams headed in for the interval goalless but have made up for it in the disciplinary figures with a host of bookings issued by referee Jarred Gillett.

In total, seven yellow cards were issued during the opening 45 minutes with five of them coming the way of Ange Postecoglou’s side.

That figure equalled a Premier League record for the most handed out in the first half of any game in the modern top flight’s  history.

Calm heads will definitely be required after the break.
