Fire at pallet business in Dunn causes heavy smoke seen from I-95, officials say

DUNN, N.C. (WNCN) — Heavy smoke was seen near Dunn Tuesday evening after a fire broke out at a business, according to the Sampson County Sheriff’s Office.

Crews said they were called to the fire at a pallet business on Ira B Tart Road east of I-95. The location is listed as Discount Pallet Services.

There was heavy fire and heavy smoke at the scene, which could be seen on I-95 at least 15 miles away.
