Fire Destroys Travel Trailer, Damages Home In Winchester Neighborhood

WINCHESTER, CA — A fire destroyed a travel trailer and damaged a home Wednesday morning in a Winchester residential neighborhood.

The blaze was reported at 9:43 a.m. in the 35000 block of Corte Los Robles, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.

The travel trailer was fully involved in the fire when crews arrived at the scene, and flames spread to a home.

One person sustained a minor injury in the incident but declined medical treatment, the fire department said. No other injuries were reported.

Four residents were displaced due to the blaze that was contained at 10:26 a.m.

The fire department remained at the scene for mop-up. Utility companies were summoned.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
