First Marshall County Business Pitch Contest Yields Cash, Prizes

MOUNDSVILLE – Winners of the first Business Entrepreneur Pitch Contest have been announced by the Marshall County Chamber of Commerce.

The contest, held recently at Grand Vue Park, gave away $7,000 in cash and prizes. The winners are Grand Prize of $7,000, the Axe Hole; second place, Butter Me Cookies; third place, Wright Way Mobile Massage; and fourth place, Comfort for Angels.

“Congratulations to all participants, judges, sponsors, and attendees of the Kickstart Marshall County Chamber of Commerce Business Entrepreneur Pitch Contest,” said Scott Reager, director of the Marshall County Chamber of Commerce. “The event was a tremendous success … Additionally, the crowd favorite for the evening was Wright Way Mobile Massage. We are proud to announce that all contestants walked away with cash and prizes. Thank you for making this event a memorable one.”

The contest was open to people considering launching a new business or seeking to expand their existing business.

To qualify, people either had to plan to establish their business in Marshall County or to serve the area with their business offerings.
