First of its kind business opens in Rapid City

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) –Jump N Slide Adventure Park is Rapid City’s first and only inflatable park.

This bouncy park opened on November 8 of this year.

“So, it’s one solid 11,000 sq ft inflatable park with one entrance and one exit to the main part of it. Once you’re inside there’s 11 or 12 different attractions,” Trista Vlcek, Jump N Slide Adventure Park owner, said.

To enter the inflatable park, you can purchase allotted times for how long you would like to play.

“You can buy passes for an hour, hour and a half, two hours, and two and a half hours,” Vlcek said.

However, this bouncy castle isn’t only to make children hoppy.

“We say our inflatable is suitable for all ages. So, with that toddler zone as long as your kiddo is comfortable inside the inflatable they can go inside and adults are welcome too,” Vlcek said.

Vlcek said it was important to have something open year-round and indoors for the community.

“We really wanted to bring something new and something fun to the Rapid City area,” Vlcek said.

The inflatable attraction took about a year to make and was customized to fit inside of this location.

“We also got to pick out the different attractions and how we wanted them to fit,” Vlcek said.

Although the adventure park is new to the Rapid City area, bounce houses are not new to the Vlcek’s.

“We also own Jump N Slide enterprise which is a bouncy castle rental business. We have 19 different inflatables that we deliver and set up at your location, so that you can have the party at your own house,” Vleck said.

Jump N Slide Adventure Park has only been open for almost two months, however, Vleck said a new attraction is making its way in January.

“So, that is within this building too, we kind of kept it hidden away from the public. So, we are just finalizing the details now and then we will be able to have a full-blown gel blaster arena, it’s about 2,200 sq ft,” Vleck said.
