Fitness Court will be launched

City of Junction City, Quality Play for All , Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas and the National Fitness Campaign will Launch the Fitness Court® at 5th Street Playground Park in Junction City Wednesday August 7, at 10:00 a.m.

Featured speakers will include Vice Mayor Ronna Larson of Junction City, Kendall Schoenrock, Quality Play for All, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas, Kelly Cook, Director of Membership Relations, of the Junction City Area Chamber of Commerce

 Fitness Court ®will provide the region with equitable access to free Healthy Infrastructure that allows users to leverage their own body weight to get a complete workout in seven movements. The Fitness Courts® are created with adults of all ages and abilities in mind, allowing users to move at their own pace. Fitness Court users are encouraged to download the free mobile application, the Fitness Court App, which offers world-class workouts and acts as a coach-in-your-pocket.
