We all know that exercise is good for our bodies. It strengthens our muscles, improves our cardiovascular health, and helps us maintain a healthy weight.

But what if we told you that moving your body is just as important for your mind as it is for your physical well-being?

Haley Conrad is a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist at the Human Services Center. She says one benefit of exercise that is often overlooked is the positive effect on your mental health.
