Northwood Office is gearing up for fun events in Ballantyne all summer long. Check out the latest going on with the Ballantyne Farmers Market, Live at The Amp Concert series and Fitness at The Amp series.

 

Ballantyne Farmers Markets

July 10 & Aug. 14 | 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Every second Wednesday of the month from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., through August, connect with local makers and farmers at Brixham park’s first farmers market. Shop goods for yourself or your loved ones, then order lunch from local on-site food trucks. At each farmers market, guests will find a selection of prepared goods, flowers, honey, eggs and more.

Live at The Amp Summer Concert Series

July 11 & Aug. 8 | 5:30-8:30 p.m.

This year’s summer concert series at The Amp Ballantyne is going to be bigger and better than ever.  Ballantyne is continuing to create unforgettable experiences for the community and is excited to host evening concerts at The Amp this summer. Tickets for the summer concert series are just $10 (children five and under are free), making it affordable to enjoy live music in a fun and vibrant atmosphere.

The lineup is as follows:

• July 11: Thurston Howell Band with Taylor Winchester

• Aug. 8: Cassette Rewind with Cosmic Collective

 

Fitness at The Amp

July 17, Aug. 21, Sept. 18, Oct. 16 | 5:30 p.m.

Fitness at The Amp will be held on Wednesday evenings at 5:30 p.m. Free parking is available at The Amp, located at 11115 Upper Avenue. Be sure to bring sneakers, a towel and water. Tenants with the goBallantyne app can register for free. The greater community can purchase class tickets for $15 and SweatNET members get free access to each class.

The lineup is as follows:

• July 17: Cross Conditioning Training with Jen – A rigorous workout that focuses on building strength and endurance through various high-intensity exercises.

• Aug. 21: Evening Flow with Dream Yoga & Wellness – A calming yet powerful yoga session aimed at enhancing flexibility, mindfulness and overall wellness.

• Sept. 18: Pilates with Solid Core – A Pilates class designed to tone muscles and improve core strength through controlled and precise movements.

• Oct. 16: Zumba with Deb – A lively and fun dance workout that combines international music with easy-to-follow dance moves for a great cardio session.
