Kalispell Chamber 

The Kalispell Chamber of Commerce holds its government affairs committee meeting on June 3 at noon at the chamber, 2 South Main St., Ste 205. Representative Dave Fern will provide an update on the Property Tax Task Force work and the Behavioral Health Commission progress.

The Columbia Falls Chamber of Commerce and the Whitefish Chamber of Commerce are holding a joint coffee event on June 6 at 8:30 a.m. SWAE Industries, 101 Columbia Mountain Dr., Columbia Falls. 

Leadership Flathead

The Kalispell Chamber of Commerce is taking applications for Leadership Flathead Class of 2026. The program imparts knowledge on relevant civic issues to emerging and current leaders while providing them with opportunities to engage with local leaders and decision-makers. The two-year program encompasses diverse skills-building and community awareness initiatives. Applications are taken through June 15. The Kalispell Chamber of Commerce UNWIND is June 11 at 5:30 p.m. at Mann Kind Foundation, 1230 Whitefish Stage Road, Kalispell. The networking event allows leaders to connect and find out what’s new with businesses in the valley. 

Bigfork Sundowner

The Bigfork Chamber of Commerce holds its Sundowner on June 13 at 5 p.m. at Swan River Gardens, 175 Swan River Road, Bigfork. Networking for business professionals. 

Housing plans

The Montana Departments of Commerce and Public Health and Human Services are developing the state’s 2025-2029 Consolidated Plan for Housing and Community Development and Fair Housing Equity Plan. Montana is assessing its affordable housing and community development needs and market conditions and making data-driven decisions on how to use federal funding. Using data and public input, the state will determine priority needs and goals that will guide spending over the next five years. Comments will be taken through in-person and virtual formats.
