FloridaCommerce offering small business assistance following Helene

SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – FloridaCommerce is offering up to $50,000 in emergency loans for businesses damaged or significantly impacted by Helene.

The Florida Small Business Emergency Bridge Loan program provides short-term, zero-interest working capital loans. They are for the use to bridge the gaps in time between the storm and other, third-party sources of funding.

Loans are available up to $50,000 per eligible applicant. They must be paid back within a short time-frame.

They have up to $40 million in available funds.
