Foley Council to Discuss New Downtown Entertainment District

Orange Beach, Ala. – (OBA) – Orange Beach City Schools have achieved Cognia Accreditation less than two years after opening. Cognia, a nonprofit providing quality assurance, recognized the district for meeting certain, rigorous standards.

Cognia, formerly known as AdvancED, evaluates schools on productive learning environments, resource allocation, and leadership. Orange Beach City Schools went through a thorough self-assessment and evaluation by Cognia experts. The district met research-based standards and evidence-based criteria, earning national recognition for its commitment to continuous improvement.
