Jackson is best known as one of the former child stars of the Disney Channel series Jessie. She starred alongside Peyton List, Karan Brar, and the late Cameron Boyce as the children of a high-profile couple who ultimately turn to 19-year old Texas teen Jessie (Debby Ryan) to corral their kids as the family nanny.
The show ran from 2011 to 2015, when it spawned spinoff show Bunk’d, featuring List, Brar, and Jackson in the same roles. In the sequel, the Ross kids leave their New York penthouse behind for new adventures at a rustic Maine summer program, Camp Kikiwaka. Jackson’s character Zuri departed the series after three seasons.
Jackson has since kept busy as the voice of Glory Grant in Disney’s animated Marvel Rising series, and she participated in the 2020 season of Dancing With the Stars. She has also penned a memoir, 2019’s Reach for the Skai: How to Inspire, Empower and Clapback.
