Former George County and coast athletes in EA Sports College Football 25

PERKINSTON, Miss. (WLOX) -With the release of EA Sports College Football 25, the coast is well represented in the game with former athletes available as players at their next level schools.

George County has a handful of former players in the game with the likes of Marquez Dortch at Troy as well as Dylan Lawrence at Southern Miss.

Overall, the coast is well represented across the board at D1 schools.

We caught up with highly touted Rebels quarterback and Notre Dame commit Deuce Knight and his head coach James Ray on what it’s like to have former teammates and players in the game.

“It’s been tight getting to play with guys like Marquez and guys like Dylan, but then McKinnley Jackson, he isn’t in EA but he’s in Madden which is crazy, so getting to play with those type of guys that I know personally is fun,” said Knight.

“I want to go buy the game even though I don’t play them just so I can say, ‘That guy, that guy, that guy, they all played at George County.’ Just to have that kind of presence from our school where we have four or five guys in the game is really special,” said Ray.

Deuce Knight isn’t in the game just yet as he gets ready for his senior season but says he’s definitely excited to be part of College Football 26.
