Former Waukon business owner convicted in arson case
WAUKON, Iowa (KTTC) – Jurors find a former Waukon business owner, with a history of convictions, guilty of arson.
That verdict was reached Tuesday in Allamakee County, in the criminal case against Mindy Jones.
Jones, 44, was found guilty of first-degree arson in connection with the February 2022 fire involving her own business named Tin, Rust and Harmony.
A dog also died in the fire.
In a post on its Facebook page, the Waukon Police Department thanked those who helped with this investigation.
Jones is already serving prison time in Minnesota for financial fraud out of Fillmore County.
