The Fortnite battle pass for Chapter 5 Season 3 features a pretty strong theme: wasteland mayhem. This season’s Mad Max-like ambitions result in an oily, supercharged warzone and it comes packed with several new characters to match that aesthetic.
While Fortnite downtime continues, we’ll be using this space to preview the full battle pass lineup of all eight skins. Once downtime ends, we’ll update this guide to provide you with images for every one of the Fortnite battle pass rewards for Chapter 5 Season 3.
In the meantime, let’s meet our latest ragtag group of heroes, villains, and…vegetables?
- T-60 Power Armor
- Rust
- Ringmaster Scarr
- The Machinist
- Megalo Don
- Brite Raider
- Megneto
- Peabody
The T-60 may need no introduction. It’s second only to Vault Boy for being the most iconic imagery from the Fallout series of games and the recent Amazon Prime Video hit.
Rust is a reimagining of a skin that first launched way back in 2017, Rust Lord–which back then was a play off of Marvel’s Star Lord. This one has been given a cosmetic overhaul fitting of the wasteland ahead.
Ringmaster Scarr runs the Nitro Drome, which you can read about in our Fortnite map changes in Chapter 5 Season 3 guide. She’s also an enemy boss this season.
The Machinist, meanwhile, is a master mechanic who can be found at Redline Rig, making all four-wheeled objects much deadlier.
Megalo Don is the big brutish baddie you can challenge (or evade) this season. To take him on, travel to Brutal Beachhead–just don’t expect a lazy day in the sun.
Like Rust, Brite Raider is a reimagining of a years-old skin–though, in her case, she’s been reimagined many times over already. This time, she gets spiked shoulder pads and a tougher exterior befitting of the wasteland.
Magneto is surely a familiar face to X-Men fans, as he’s often positioned as its Big Bad. He makes his debut in Fortnite, joining a long list of other Marvel skins in the game already.
Lastly, what would a Fortnite season launch be without a Weird Little Guy? This season’s WLG is Peabody, an anthropomorphized peapod featuring a trio of legendary legumes: Phil, Earl, and Axle. For some action shots of the new heroes, keep scrolling. And stick around for when we turn this article into one massive battle pass round-up.
