This is not the first appearance on the international stage for the four student-athletes. Jimenez was one of two Houston Swimming & Diving swimmers to participate in the 2024 Olympics in Paris while Titus and Jimenez both competed at the 2023 Pan Am Games in Santiago, Chile, and the 2022 FINA World Championships, also held in Budapest.  Fangli swam at the Sette Colli Trophy meet in 2023 and 2024, and Cullen competed at the European Aquatic Championships in 2024.

The Houston record holder in the 100-yard breaststroke, Fangli holds the Hungarian record in the 100-meter long-course breaststroke, a mark she set at the Sette Colli meet in July. A dual-national, she also holds the Romanian short- and long-course records in the 50- and 100-meter breaststrokes as well as the short-course record in the 100-meter individual medley.

Titus has claimed the Barbadian short- and long-course records in the 50-, 100- and 200-meter backstrokes as well as the short-course record in the 100-meter individual medley.

Jimenez holds nine individual Dominican Republic records. She’s earned both the short- and long-course records in the 400-meter freestyle and the 200- and 400-meter individual medleys. She also claimed the short-course record in the 800- and 1500-meter freestyle and 100-meter individual medley.

Already holding the program records for Houston in the 100- and 200-yard backstrokes, Cullen previously swam at the Irish National Championships this summer, winning the 100- and 200-meter long-course backstrokes.
