Four Hearts Country Bargains in Wellington expands to larger space

Four Hearts Country Bargains, 601 S. Main St. in Wellington, celebrated its grand re-opening in a new, larger location to better serve customers with quality items at a discounted rate.

As a locally-owned liquidation store, Four Hearts offers all kinds of products at dramatically reduced rates for people to be able to afford quality items, said Kyle Williams, co-owner.

Kyle Williams, alongside wife and co-owner, Cassandra, came from running a pole barn-turned-store at their home to operating a small storefront on West Herrick Avenue, which quickly had outgrown since opening in May 2023.

“It kind of snowballed,” Kyle Williams said. “It was pretty nice, but it didn’t have the storage we needed.”

The new 1,000-square-foot location acquired in April, provides more room for customers to browse the aisles, and adds additional storage space and more on-site parking, according to Williams.

Patrons can find virtually anything they are looking for like food and drink items, clothing, shoes, decorations, first-aid supplies, toiletries, cleaning supplies, children’s toys, electronics, office supplies and much more, he said.

All items are brand new and are marked down from their original price, ranging anywhere from 40% to 90% off, Williams said.

“Just the access is a lot better here,” he said.

While transforming the space in May and early June, Cassandra Williams said a main priority of the business is to keep the shopping area as clean as possible, and incorporate interior design and decoration choices based on a standard boutique.

“We wanted to make it look nice to where people can shop affordably,” she said. “I like the whole boutique vibe; I wanted it to look nice.”

Many loyal customers showed up in support of the business’ grand re-opening, said Kyle Williams, as well as many new faces checking out the store for the first time.

Building a customer base came easy with the help of the store’s Facebook page, as well as word of mouth, which is a main source of business, he said.

“Wellington’s been great for us; everybody shares what we do,” Kyle Williams said. “We just want to keep getting as much stuff as we can and getting the deals to as many people as we can.”
