Four LSU Tigers make the top-100 of EA Sports College Football ‘25 rankings

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – On July 19th, it’ll be Christmas morning for college football fans and gamers. EA Sports College Football 25 will be released.

To get fans fired up for the big game unveiling, EA Sports has been coming out with rankings each week leading up to July 19th. This week, they did top-100 players in the country, and LSU was well-represented.

At No. 2 overall, Tigers left tackle Will Campbell. He received an overall ranking of 96, the highest number given out. No. 1 overall was Michigan cornerback Will Johnson, he possessed the same 96 ranking. Campbell will be a junior this fall for LSU. Numerous mock drafts have the Monroe native going in the top-10 of the 2025 NFL Draft.

At No. 31, linebacker Harold Perkins. The Houston native will be a junior this season for LSU. He’s also mocked to be a first-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Perkins will move positions to inside linebacker in Blake Baker’s new defense.

Checking in at No. 92, right tackle Emery Jones, Jr. Out of Baton Rouge, Jones could play his way into a first-round pick. With Campbell and Jones, many consider the Tigers O-Line to be on of the best in the country.

And finally at No. 98, tight end Mason Taylor. With Garrett Nussmeier at quarterback, Taylor should be very busy this fall. Taylor’s father, Jason, starred in the NFL for the Miami Dolphins.
