Free latkes, live entertainment at Charleston’s 17th annual Chanukah in the Square
CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — Charleston’s 17th annual Chanukah in the Square returns Sunday, promising food, entertainment, and festivities.
Chanukah in the Square lasts from 4:00-6:00pm Sunday, Dec. 29 in Marion Square and was organized by Chabad of Charleston and the College of Charleston Yaschik/Arnold Jewish Studies Program.
Described as an “extravaganza,” organizers said there will be kids crafts, a giant menorah lighting, live music and children’s entertainment, and giveaways.
The free event will also feature plenty of hot food, including latkes, burgers, chicken soup, and more.
