After her campaigns in the clay double tournament in Madrid and Rome, Coco Gauff will now mark her participation in the Grand Slam event in Paris. As she is now in the global fashion capital, many would have thought that the American tennis prodigy would be tempted to go on a shopping spree. However, the current number-three player is reluctant to go shopping in Paris, as her previous spending in Rome has turned costly, according to recent disclosures.

In an interview with TODAY, the reigning US Open champion was asked if she had been shopping quite a lot in Paris, as it acts as the center of the fashion industry. Gauff answered by saying, “Actually, I haven’t gone yet because I was in Rome and Madrid like last week and I spent some of my money there. So I was going to chill.” In her honest response, the young WTA sensation opened up about how her shopping spree in Madrid and Rome has turned costly for her as she has yet to shop in Paris.
