Funeral services set for man known for local sports promotion
EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – Funeral services will be held this weekend for a man responsible for bringing numerous sporting events to Owensboro.
51-year-old Jared Bratcher died Wednesday from injuries suffered in an automobile accident.
According to his obituary, Bratcher worked for 16 years for the Convention and Visitors Bureau.
He also brought the first NSA World Series to Owensboro and was inducted into the NSA/BPA Hall of Fame in 2012.
Visitation is set for Saturday at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home, funeral services are set for Sunday at Liberty Methodist Church in Beaver Dam.
