Fusion Fest kicks off a weekend of fun from around the world

SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WSBT) — The 2nd annual South Bend Fusion Fest kicked off Saturday in Howard Park.

The event features lots to do for the whole family including games, music and more than 100 food vendors.

There is even a bounce house, bungee experience and rock climbing.

More than 30,000 people attended last year’s event, with even more expected this year.

Gentlemen and Scholars’ Shane Williams said, “There’s nothing like coming together, you know, where unity is love, love is unity. So when we bring a scene together like this, I tip my hat off, if I had a hat on, I’d take it off for South Bend.”

The two day event continues Sunday from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Admission is free for all.
