Samsung is developing a new M-series smartphone, the Galaxy M35. It will arrive as a slightly modified version of the Galaxy A35, which the brand launched last month. So far, there have been a few leaks about the device which have revealed the phone’s specifications, and yesterday, we got to see the front facia of the device. Now, a new leak shows the Galaxy M35 from all angles and reveals its color options and battery capacity.
Galaxy M35 looks vastly different to Galaxy A35
On X/Twitter, Evan Blass has posted a video showing the Galaxy M35 from all angles (except top and bottom). It reveals that the upcoming M-series phone will have thick bezels around the display, a punch-hole on the screen for the front-facing camera, three cameras along with an LED flash at the rear, a boxy design with rounded edges, buttons for power and volume on the right-hand side of the device, and a SIM card slot on the left.
These aspects of the Galaxy M35 are vastly different than those of the Galaxy A35. There’s another big difference between the two devices, and that’s the design of their back panels. While the back panel of the Galaxy A-series device is made out of glass and has a glossy texture and geometric design, the back panel of the upcoming M-series smartphone is made out of plastic, has a semi-gloss finish, and there are horizontal lines on it.
The Galaxy A35 in the video is painted in gray. However, the tipster has posted two more videos showing the upcoming M-series device in blue and mint color options. That means the Galaxy M35 will be available in a total of three color options. Design-wise, the Galaxy M35 looks like a more affordable device compared to the Galaxy A35. However, that’s not a surprise considering that the M-series phone will cost less than the A-series device.
Galaxy M35 to feature a 6,000mAh battery
Evan also confirms that the Galaxy M35 will have a 6,000mAh battery. That means the battery of the upcoming M-series device will be 1,000mAh larger than that of the Galaxy A35. This was expected to be the case considering the difference between older A-series and M-series phones.
The story continues after the video…
The Galaxy M35 will have the Exynos 1380 SoC, 6GB RAM, and Android 14. Other aspects of the device will be similar to those of the Galaxy A35. It means that the upcoming M-series phone will have a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, a triple camera setup at the rear with a 50MP primary camera featuring OIS, a 5MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera, and a 13MP selfie camera.
