Galaxy S25 officially launches on January 22, reservations open now with $1,200+ savings
After plenty of leaks and rumors, we’re officially entering Samsung’s lead-up to the Galaxy S25 launch date, as the company has confirmed an event on January 22 and is opening reservations where customers can get a $50 credit and more.
Galaxy S25 launch date is January 22
As expected, Samsung has today confirmed that the Galaxy S25 will launch at an Unpacked event on January 22, 2025. The event will take place at 10am PT out of San Jose, California, and will once again focus on AI alongside the new hardware updates.
Get ready for AI that is more natural and intuitive. The next evolution of Galaxy AI is coming and it’s going to change the way you interact with the world every day. The new Galaxy S series is about to set the bar once again for mobile AI experiences now and into the future.
The event will be livestreamed via Samsung’s website, Newsroom, and YouTube channel starting at 10am PT (1pm EST). Pre-orders for the Galaxy S25 are expected to start immediately after the event, with Samsung offering customers boosted trade-ins and other credits when they reserve early.
If you’re out of the loop on Galaxy S25 information, here’s a quick rundown of what you should know:
As for the actual Galaxy S25 release date, Samsung is rumored to be shipping devices and offering them in stores by February 7.
Free reservations include a $50 credit and a $5,000 sweepstakes
Samsung is also, as usual, offering customers the chance to place a reservation for the Galaxy S25 series ahead of the event. These reservations act as a no-obligation way for customers to ensure the chance to pre-order the device and score some bonuses.
In years passed, Samsung has offered enhanced trade-ins, free Care+, and more. This year the company will also be offering a $50 credit with a Galaxy S25 reservation. This credit can be used for add-ons when you buy any Galaxy S25 device, including cases, smartwatches, tablets, and more. Samsung is also running a $5,000 sweepstakes (in the form of a Samsung gift card) for anyone who places a reservation, even if they don’t end up purchasing a device.
Savings, Samsung says, can add up to over $1,200. This includes boosted trade-ins up to $900, up to $300 in instant credits, and that $50 reserve credit as well.
Reservations are completely free and you are not required to buy the device later on, and they only require an email address.
Are you looking forward to the Galaxy S25 series?
