Galleria Dallas to get Netflix House ‘entertainment concept’ in 2025
DALLAS — People normally think about Netflix as a reason to stay home. You might binge a popular TV show like “Bridgerton” over a weekend or catch up on some movies rather than head to your local cinema.
Now, Netflix is giving people a reason to leave the house.
The streaming giant on Tuesday announced that Galleria Dallas is one of two U.S. shopping centers that will be home to Netflix House, described as a “new entertainment concept.”
Currently under construction at the 1.9-million-square-foot shopping center, a news release says Netflix House will feature “your favorite Netflix stories and characters beyond the screen year-round.”
“Imagine waltzing with your partner to an orchestral cover of a Taylor Swift song on a replica of the ‘Bridgerton’ set –– and then walking around the corner to compete in the Glass Bridge challenge from ‘Squid Game,’” a release from Netflix says.
Visitors, the release says, will be treated to “retail therapy” and be able to “taste” their favorite Netflix series and films via food and drink.
“Welcoming Netflix House to Galleria Dallas allows the center to sit at the forefront of the experiential economy, which is such a key aspect of retail today,” said Galleria Dallas general manager Angie Freed. “We’re focused on giving our guests the best possible experience as they shop, dine and spend time with friends and family.”
Netflix House will occupy two floors of anchor space on the northwest side of Galleria Dallas. An opening date has not been announced.
The other location is King of Prussia in Pennsylvania.
Galleria Dallas is located at 13350 Dallas Parkway.
