PREVIEW
- The Clemson Tigers are slated to continue ACC conference play on the road against No. 4 Louisville and Notre Dame.
- The Tigers will first head to Louisville, Ky. to face the No. 4 Louisville Cardinals at the L&N Federal Credit Union Arena on Friday, October 4 at 6 P.M. for the 13th time in program history.
- Clemson will then travel to South Bend, Ind. to play the Notre Dame Fighting Irish at Purcell Pavilion on Sunday, October 6 at 1 P.M. for the 11th time in volleyball. The Tigers won the most recent meeting between the two schools in four sets in 2023.
FROM SETBACKS TO SUCCESS
- Team captain Azyah Dailey recently had a feature story released on ClemsonTigers.com going into her nontraditional journey to Division I volleyball.
- The senior is one of the leading attackers on the team with the third-most total attacks, kills and points for the Tigers.
- Dailey is also a threat on the defensive end with her being in the top-five on the team in total blocks and blocks per set.

REACHING NEW HEIGHTS
- Devan Taylor continues to move closer to the all-time career digs record and is 8 digs away from surpassing Julie Rodriguez (1993-96, 1523) to claim the second-most digs all-time as a Tiger.
- Taylor remains a stalwart defensively. The Texan’s 232 digs and 4.83 digs per set are the highest and second-highest marks in the ACC, respectively, and are both top-50 rankings in the nation.
- Neea-Maria Joki continues to dominate the service game with a team-high 19 aces and 0.40 aces per set. Both marks are good for the second-highest by any freshman in the ACC while being the seventh-highest total and 13th-highest rate in the ACC, respectively. The freshman additionally sports 2.73 kills per set, the third-highest rate by a freshman in the ACC.
- Mia McGrath and Dailey each remain an offensive force for the Tigers. The junior, McGrath, has a team-high in total kills, kills per set and total attacks. The Illinois-native’s 3.04 kills per set alongside the senior, Dailey, with 2.83 kills per set, are each within the top-30 in the ACC.
WELCOMING “NEW” JERVEY GYM
- In the Tigers opening match at “New” Jervey Gym, Clemson completed a thrilling reverse sweep over the Kennesaw Owls, 3-2.
- The Tigers have averaged over 1,000 fans in attendance in each home game this season.
- Following the conclusion of the 2023 home slate, Clemson began upgrades to Jervey Gym that included re-allocating more than 14,000 square feet of space and raising the roof of Jervey Gym by 15 feet.
- The Volleyball Suite directly off the gym will be complete with a team meeting room, lounge, locker room, and student-athlete amenities.
- The match day fan experience has also been upgraded to include new lighting, bleachers and sound system. There will also be a brand-new video board and a premier ACEs Club Lounge (slated to open in 2025).
- Jervey Gym upgrades is in partnership with the Performance and Wellness Center (P.A.W.) that will include the strength and conditioning center, as well as the wellness and recovery space that will house athletic training and the Bistro for dining.
