Genpak reopens renovated facility, adds 155 new jobs
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) -New jobs are coming at a major Montgomery manufacturer. Genpak will hold a celebration ceremony on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. to officially announce the 155 new positions. It’s also retaining 145 people, totaling a $22.8 million investment.
Genpak produces containers and tableware for the restaurant, catering, and retail industries. It makes things like containers that hold your food at places like Zaxby’s. It serves clients across the country.
Genpak just renovated its 400,000-square-foot facility with safety enhancements and upgrades, so it will also serve as a distribution center.
