Geogeske G2 and Fools Gold Bar in Cincinnati Entertainment District to close

EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — Two restaurants/bars in the Cincinnati Entertainment District will close before the new year begins.

Geogeske G2, a local restaurant establishment, announced it will close its doors on December 31 after 23 years of service.

“It is with a heavy heart that we have made the very difficult decision to close our doors on December 31st,” the statement from Geogeske read. “It has been an honor to serve you for the past 23 years.”

The statement expressed gratitude to the community and the team, saying, “We are grateful for our wonderful community and all and everyone who has worked and been a part of our GeoGeske team.”

GeoGeske will continue to operate with normal business hours through the end of the year.

Fools Gold Bar will close its doors on New Year’s Eve after eight years of service.

“With a bittersweet heart, we announce our final call for Fool’s Gold on New Year’s Eve. Till then, we invite everyone to join in celebrating The Gold Times with one last taco, one last Sol, one last memory at your favorite desert dive bar,” their statement read.
