Georgia men’s basketball releases 2024-2025 schedule

Georgia men’s basketball officially announced its schedule for the upcoming 2024-2025 season. The Bulldogs will host five Saturday SEC home games and play in multiple neutral site matchups.

Georgia will begin its season Nov. 4 with three-straight home games against non-conference opponents. The Bulldogs will then travel 70 miles west on Nov. 15 to partake in ‘Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate’ with Georgia Tech.

From there, Georgia will face Alabama A&M in Athens before playing Marquette and St. John’s in The Bahamas.

Georgia returns to Stegeman Coliseum Nov. 30 to face Jacksonville at 7 p.m. The Bulldogs will then play Notre Dame on Dec. 3 as a part of the SEC/ACC Challenge. Georgia partook in the challenge last season, defeating Florida State in a thrilling game in Tallahassee.

The Bulldogs will participate in Holiday Hoopsgiving Dec. 14 with a game against Grand Canyon. It will be the first meeting between the two teams and will take place at State Farm Arena, home of the Atlanta Hawks.

Georgia will round out its non-conference schedule with games against Buffalo, Charleston Southern and S.C. State in Athens.

SEC play will begin following the new year when Georgia travels to Ole Miss on Jan. 4. The Bulldogs will host Kentucky, Oklahoma, Auburn, South Carolina, LSU, Mississippi St., Missouri, Florida and Vanderbilt and travel to Ole Miss, Tennessee, Arkansas, Florida, Alabama, Texas A&M, Auburn, Texas and South Carolina.

The Bulldogs are looking to build upon a season that saw them make it to the NIT Semifinals. The returns of Silas Demary Jr. and Blue Cain combined with Georgia’s solid recruiting class makes it a strong candidate to earn its first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2015.
