We’ve been recording great discounts from Amazon’s October Prime Day event, with huge savings on items ranging from kitchen appliances to laptops and TVs. Sometimes, we see some deals that are so good that we have to write about them separately, and today, it’s the Samsung S24 going for only $600. That’s $200 off its normal base price. The 128GB model is the topic of this sale, you can also score a 256GB Samsung Galaxy S24 for only $660, down from $860. It’s a Samsung flagship, one of the best phones out there. This is sales season; we honestly don’t expect the deal to last long.

CNET’s Patrick Holland lauded the S24’s features, saying, “The S24 and S24 Plus are wonderful, well-built phones that are excellent right out of the box just as the nearly identical S22 and S23 were before it.” Holland praised the S24’s longer battery life, which he said can last on just one charge despite strenuous daylong use.

The Samsung Galaxy S24’s upgrades over past editions include brighter screens, a slightly larger surface area and Circle to Search, an AI feature that can speed up your search process and queries. The S24 is powered by 8GB RAM and is known for its bright screens, aluminum construction and high-performance translation features. Its AI has a long way to go to becoming the most advanced yet, but Samsung has proven it’s on the right track with this. Additionally, Samsung is offering software support for up to seven years, which means you’ll still benefit from any new developments they may come up with.
