Get caught shopping to win Chamber Bucks

Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce Program Development Director Teresa Detimore and Member Relations Director Bobbi Mitzel appeared on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse to remind residents as they shop downtown through Dec. 14, they should keep wearing Stroll buttons and Shop Local. Shoppers might just get caught by the Chamber’s team.

If caught shopping locally at one of the participating businesses while wearing the Stroll button, people could win anywhere from $25-$200 in Chamber Bucks. Detimore and Mitzel reminded the public that Chamber Bucks also make a great gift for the hard to shop for person in one’s life but the demand means folks may have to wait a day or two to pick them up. Order and pick up must be completed by Dec. 20

Stroll buttons have been sold out as of 12 p.m. on the day of the Christmas Stroll. Detimore said they printed more than last year and were pleasantly surprised once they were sold out. Next year the Chamber plans on printing more to hopefully meet the demand.
