Black Friday happens the day after Thanksgiving and kicks off the Christmas shopping season. Following Tropical Storm Helene, store owners, artists and others welcome people to celebrate the holiday season and help rebuild Western North Carolina. Big-box retailers will open early but also remember to shop local in downtown Asheville and surrounding counties.
