General Motor Co. Chair and CEO Mary Barra has been named Fortune’s most powerful woman in business, the media company announced Wednesday.

The 27th edition of the Fortune Most Powerful Women in business list recognizes 100 global leaders. The list includes 65 women CEOs and the ranking is based on company size and health, their career path, influence beyond their organization and how they wield power, Fortune said.

Fortune described Barra as a “trailblazer in the auto industry” and noted that among the 55 women currently leading Fortune 500 companies, Barra is one of only nine who have been CEO for a decade or more.

Below are the top 10 “Most Powerful Women”:

  1. Barra
  2. Karen Lynch, president and CEO of CVS Health
  3. Jane Fraser, CEO of Citigroup
  4. Julie Sweet, chair and CEO of Accenture
  5. Emma Walmsley, CEO of GlaxoSmithKline
  6. Ruth Porat, president, CIO and CFO of Alphabet and Google
  7. Safra Catz, CEO of Oracle
  8. Lisa Su, chair and CEO of Advanced Micro Devices
  9. Kathryn McLay, president and CEO of Walmart International
  10. Grace Wang, co-founder and chairwoman of Luxshare Precision

Fortune published its first “Most Powerful Women” list in 1998 to recognize the women leading some of the biggest companies in a business world still dominated by men, the media company said.
