Goochland Economic Development celebrates local business

For the second year in a row, Goochland County Economic Development hosted their Small Business Appreciation Event as part of Virginia’s Business Appreciation Month.

On Wednesday, May 15, roughly 50 people, representing over 20 different businesses, filled Kindred Spirits Brewing in West Creek. Greeted by Economic Development staff, guests enjoyed refreshments while mingling with other business owners and County officials.

“The Business Appreciation Event is a small way in which the Board of Supervisors and Economic Development Authority can show their appreciation to all the businesses who operate in Goochland,” said Sara Worley, Economic Development Director. “It was a great night connecting with business owners and enjoying good company.”

Goochland County Economic Development continues to celebrate Virginia’s Business Appreciation Month online with their social media campaign.
