Grant DuBose receives “positive” feedback, will remain in Houston overnight
Dolphins wide receiver Grant DuBose underwent head and neck imaging that delivered “positive feedback,” coach Mike McDaniel told reporters after Sunday’s game.
DuBose will remain at Memorial Hermann Medical Center in Houston overnight.
“Our hearts and thoughts and prayers are with him,” McDaniel said.
The Dolphins previously reported that DuBose was in stable condition after being transported via ambulance to the hospital. He was ruled out with a head injury, but medical personnel took off DuBose’s shoulder pads, cut off his jersey and unscrewed his facemask as they worked for him for 11 minutes on the field.
Texans safety Calen Bullock hit DuBose with 9:34 remaining in the third quarter, drawing a 15-yard penalty for a hit on a defenseless receiver. Bullock was not ejected.
DuBose was playing his first game since Week 2 when he injured his shoulder.
