Greater Bangor Area Wedding Show to offer one-stop shopping for brides

HERMON, Maine (WABI) – Are you a bride-to-be interested in chatting with local wedding professionals and learning about the latest trends?

You won’t want to miss the Greater Bangor Area Wedding Show.

The event sponsored by New England Premier Events, will take place at Morgan Hill Event Center in Hermon on Sunday, January 5.

Doors open at noon.

More than 35 vendors will be in attendance.

Thousands of dollars in prizes and raffles will be given away too.

The first 100 brides that order tickets online will receive a free mini tropical getaway stay in their swag bag.

Two lucky couples will win a free 8-day-7-night condo honeymoon stay.

Organizers say brides will be able to shop for deals that may just sweep them off their feet.

“The face-to-face contact you cannot put a price on that. To me, that is really important for her to bring her mom or groom or her bridesmaids. This is an exciting day for them because they get the chance to possibly win a lot of giveaways and meet some really great vendors under one roof,” said Kathy Sonderegger, owner of New England Premier Events.

It’s $10 to attend. Tickets will be sold at the door.

The Augusta Wedding Show will occur on Sunday, January 19th at the Augusta Civic Center.
