Greater Cincinnati business alerts state to job losses ahead of shutdown

ANDERSON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) – Mauser Packaging Solutions told the state of Ohio that 107 people will lose their jobs as the Broadwell Road facility plans to shut its doors.

The facility manufactured aerosol cans in Anderson Township. The news came at the same time the company announced on its website that it acquired Taenza, a manufacturer of among other things – aerosol cans – based in Mexico.

Plans call for 87 employees to lose their jobs on July 13. The remaining 20 employees will lose their jobs about six weeks later.

All employees have been notified, according to the company’s Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act (WARN) notice to Ohio Job & Family Services.
