GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

Bay Port 3, Sheboygan North 0

SUAMICO – The Pirates swept the Golden Raiders 25-21, 25-21, 25-12 in a Fox River Classic Conference match.

Oconto Falls 3, Marinette 0

OCONTO FALLS – The Panthers swept the Marines 25-10, 25-8, 25-7 as Izzy Otto reached the 1,000-assist mark on her first set of the match.

Otto finished with 24 assists for Oconto Falls.

Amber Otto had 16 kills, while Ella Jahnke had 10 kills. Lucy Ripley and Rylie Shallow had seven kills and seven digs, respectively, for Oconto Falls.

Oconto Fall is 19-7 overall and 5-1 in the North Eastern Conference.

Luxemburg-Casco 3, Wrightstown 1

LUXEMBURG – The Spartans started fast and outlasted the Tigers 25-12, 25-22, 20-25, 25-11 in North Eastern Conference action.

The win moves Luxemburg-Casco to 5-0 in conference and 18-6 overall.

Leading the Spartans were Alayna Deprez with 45 assists and 12 digs, Aubrey Frey with 21 kills, 11 digs and two aces, Ella Vander Velden with 13 kills, 12 digs and three aces, Lauren Lindsley with seven kills and two blocks, and Rylan Kaminski with 13 digs and two aces.

“It was a good match,” Spartans coach Jeffrey Frey said. “A lot of credit goes to Kristine (Pulka-Schuh) and her team. We came out strong in set one and played really well. Credit to them in sets two and three, they responded and dug everything and made us work for every point. I’m proud of how we finished the match off in set four, another good conference win.”

NEW Lutheran 3, Southern Door 1

BRUSSELS – The Blazers defeated the Eagles 19-25, 25-22, 25-17, 25-21.

Emma Laatsch, Kiley Dhein and Abby Kirchner each had double-doubles for NEW Lutheran.

Laatsch had 14 kills and 14 digs. Dhein had 13 digs and 11 kills. Kirchner had 30 assists and 18 digs.

Southern Door was led by Alanna Paye with 13 digs and Ava Everard with 11 digs. Alanah Kay had 10 kills. Ashlyn Delfosse had 15 assists.

BOYS SOCCER

Green Bay Preble 9, Ashwaubenon 0

ASHWAUBENON – Nine players scored for the Hornets in the win over the Jaguars.

Ben Rowell, Armando Gutierrez, Eduardo Stort, Bogdan Tereshchenko, Johnathan Mendez, Edwin Santiago, Jesus Garnica, Aaron Madrigal and Cristian Lopez all scored for Preble.

Landin Gauthier and Elijah Alexander combined for the shutout in goal.

Sheboygan North 5, Pulaski 0

SHEBOYGAN – The Golden Raiders got goals from five players in the win over the Red Raiders in a match between ranked teams.

Sheboygan North is ranked 10th in Division 1, while Pulaski is ranked 10th in Division 2.

Jin Lee and Liam Nelson gave Sheboygan North a 2-0 halftime lead with Aaron Konsek, Juan Escobar and Ethan Roehrborn scoring in the second half.

Konsek and Aaron Cortez had assists for Sheboygan North.

Davis Knowles had three saves for Sheboygan North.

Josh Roth had five saves for Pulaski, which was outshot 11-4.

Marinette 2, Freedom 1

MARINETTE – Hunter Schneider and Damien Winterbottom each scored goals and Nicholas Hruska added an assist as the Marines topped the Irish in North Eastern Conference action.

Alec Timper made eight saves in net for Marinette.

GIRLS GOLF

Fox River Classic Conference Championship

GREENLEAF – Bay Port won the team title with a 337 team total, 10 shots better than runner-up De Pere, to win the conference tournament at Wander Springs.

It was the seventh consecutive conference championship for the Pirates.

Emma Cunningham of Green Bay Preble co-op was the individual medalist with a 77. Isabel Johnsen of Bay Port was second with an 82.

Kay Lee McClintock of Freedom was the individual medalist with an 85. Kennedy Polomis and Anna Marzahl led Marinette as both shot 89.
