Green Bay entertainment venues issue warning about ticket purchases
ASHWAUBENON (WLUK) — Entertainment venues in the Green Bay area have called a news conference to discuss what they call “increasing ticket buying issues from secondary selling sites.”
Leaders from TicketStar, the Resch Center, The Weidner, the Ashwaubenon Performing Arts Center and Meyer Theatre plan to be on hand.
They say customers are buying tickets from secondary sites even when tickets are available through TicketStar, the official provider of tickets for those venues. Buying from other sites can lead to additional fees, the venues warn.
